This DP-12 features twin 18.875 inch side-by-side barrels and dual tubular magazines in a bullpup configuration, giving it a short overall footprint with bottom loading and bottom ejection. The layout is designed around fast handling while maintaining full-length barrels.
The patented action delivers sequential double-barrel firing: one barrel discharges per trigger pull before a pump cycle is required. Controls include a cross-bolt safety and a polymer pump/forend that incorporates an accessory rail for mounting add-ons.
Capacity is 14+1 with 2 3/4 inch shells across the dual magazines. Chambers are cut for 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells, and the barrels use cylinder bores. This example is specifically noted with a 3 inch chamber and cylinder bores.
Construction consists of steel barrels paired with a machined aluminum receiver/upper, along with a polymer frame, stock, and forend in a matte dark gray/black finish. The fixed bullpup stock includes a rubber buttpad, and the length of pull measures 15.0 inches. A full-length top Picatinny rail provides ample space for sights or accessories.
