The M9A4 G configuration uses a double-action/single-action system with a slide-mounted, ambidextrous Type G decocker. The decocker includes a red indicator dot, and the pistol retains the 90 Series short-recoil, locking-block operating system.
The 5.1 inch steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and is marked accordingly on the barrel block. Raised sights pair an H3 tritium front with a dovetailed raised rear, providing a clear sight picture over the threaded muzzle.
The optics-cut slide includes a cover plate secured by two screws and carries factory rollmarks: BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. – GALLATIN, TN • MADE IN USA – 9mm PARA – PATENTED with the PB logo. The slide and the aluminum-alloy frame share an FDE finish.
Ergonomics center on the Vertec-profile thin grip panels with Beretta medallions; a wrap-around grip module (FDE) is included but not installed. The frame integrates a 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail and a lanyard loop at the grip base. Capacity is 18+1, and three 18-round magazines are included.
