The receiver is roll-marked "Remington 870 EXPRESS MAGNUM" and uses a right-side ejection port. It retains the Express Magnum configuration with dual action bars and a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 4+1 with a standard magazine cap and no extension.
The 28-inch ventilated rib field barrel is paired with a single-bead front sight and is marked for 12-gauge 2.75- or 3-inch shells. The chambering flexibility is reflected on the barrel stamp "12GA. 2¾ OR 3."
The hardwood stock features pressed checkering and a 14.0-inch length of pull. A circular inlay appears on the left side of the buttstock, and the hard buttplate carries the Remington script. The overall finish is matte, with a steel receiver.
