This Shadow Systems DR920L Elite stands out as a full-size, long-slide 9mm built around a 5.3 in match-grade 416R stainless barrel with a bronze finish and spiral fluting. The stainless slide wears a durable black nitride finish and features a patented direct-mount optics cut with the cover plate installed. Dovetailed steel sights, a flat-faced trigger with trigger safety, and a textured polymer frame round out a feature-rich pistol. The DR920L Elite is the long-slide 5.3 in configuration, delivering the extended slide and barrel length in a full-size 9mm package. The slide is stainless with a black nitride finish and is cut with top serrations, front and rear directional serrations, and window cuts. It uses Shadow Systems' patented direct-mount optics cut and ships with the cover plate installed. The profile is compatible with many Glock 34-length holsters.
The match-grade barrel is 416R stainless steel with a bronze finish, spiral fluting, and a 1:10 twist. It is conventionally rifled and unthreaded. The fluting and window cuts visually complement each other while showcasing the bronze barrel through the slide openings.
The polymer frame is black with a wrap-around texture for secure purchase and includes an accessory rail. Ergonomics are configurable via Shadow Systems' interchangeable NPOA backstraps, and a removable flared magazine well is installed. The flat-faced trigger incorporates a trigger safety.
Sight regulation comes from dovetailed steel sights with a front blade and a square-notch rear. Capacity is 17+1, and this pistol includes one Glock factory 17-round magazine and one Magpul PMAG 17 GL9. Matching serial numbers appear on the slide, barrel hood, and frame insert.
