The 24 in stainless, fluted sporter barrel is threaded and fitted with a radially ported spiral-pattern muzzle brake to reduce recoil and maintain a trim, backcountry-friendly profile. The stainless receiver matches the barrel for weather resistance and consistent aesthetics.
Its spiral-fluted, three-lug bolt delivers an approximately 60-degree lift for fast cycling. A spring-tensioned, Sako-style extractor and plunger ejector handle spent cases efficiently. Ejection is to the right, and the bolt release is located on the right receiver wall.
The stock is a Kevlar-reinforced fiberglass composite in tan with black webbing. It is pillar bedded and features a straight comb and pistol grip, a recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 14.0 in.
Feeding is via a detachable single-column metal box magazine. Capacity is 3+1, and one 3-round magazine is included. Durable aluminum bottom metal rounds out the bottom assembly.
