Notable upgrades include a Stan Chen SI magwell and an added ambidextrous safety with a grip modification. It comes with the manual, certificate, and two 8-round Chip McCormick Power Mag magazines. No original factory box or case is included.

The Commanche configuration pairs a 4.25-inch commander-length slide with a Government-length grip frame. The steel frame and slide carry a blued finish, with the frame rollmarked "LES BAER CUSTOM HILLSDALE, ILL USA." Front-strap and mainspring-housing checkering provide consistent purchase, complemented by double-diamond checkered wood grips with a carved emblem (aftermarket, non-Les Baer logo).
Its match-grade, bushing-fitted barrel is identified by the barrel hood marking "BAER 45 MATCH." The slide uses rear cocking serrations only and a lowered and flared ejection port, consistent with Les Baer's performance-oriented build details.
Sight regulation comes from low-mount fixed 3-dot irons: a front blade with a single dot and an MMC/LBC-marked two-dot rear. The long, three-hole trigger and skeletonized ring hammer complete the classic Les Baer control setup.
Upgrades include a Stan Chen SI magwell for faster reloads and an ambidextrous thumb safety, with the grip modified to fit the added control. Capacity is 8+1, and this pistol includes two 8-round Chip McCormick Power Mag magazines.
