This Patriot uses a percussion sidelock action with a drum/snail breech and nipple, paired to a 9-inch octagonal steel barrel. The barrel is secured by a single wedge key with escutcheons, and an under-barrel rib with one thimble supports the rammer. The blued finish highlights the crisp flats of the octagon profile.
The one-piece walnut stock incorporates a grip spur and flared butt for control, complemented by brass furniture including the nose cap, trigger guard, and an engraved butt cap. A color case-hardened hammer adds a classic touch in both look and function.
Factory scroll engraving decorates the sideplate/lockplate panel with "PATRIOT" script. Sight alignment comes from iron sights: a hooded, dovetailed front post/blade and an adjustable rear.
Double-set, adjustable triggers allow precise let-off for careful shot placement. The .45 caliber bore condition is excellent, with sharp rifling and a mirror-bright interior.
