Built by Auto-Ordnance in Worcester, MA, this carbine follows the GI pattern with a steel receiver in a matte gray/black finish and an 18 in non-threaded barrel with a plain crown. It uses the classic semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt and is chambered in .30 Carbine.
The hardwood furniture is configured in the early low-wood style with a sling/oiler cut, paired with a solid wood two-rivet handguard. The buttplate is checkered steel without a trapdoor, and the rifle is fitted with the narrow barrel band without a bayonet lug to match the early pattern.
Sights are period-correct iron sights: a wing-protected blade front on an integral base and an adjustable aperture rear. The receiver ring carries the "U.S. CARBINE CAL .30 M1" marking that collectors and enthusiasts expect on a faithful reproduction.
This example includes two 10-round magazines and one 15-round magazine, plus a GI-pattern cotton web sling and a U.S.-marked JT&L 1943 two-pocket buttstock magazine pouch. Capacity is 15+1 with appropriate magazines, and the 13.0 in length of pull provides a familiar M1 Carbine handling profile.
