The Rock Island Armory M206 is a compact, six-shot .38 Special revolver with a 2.01 in barrel and a parkerized steel frame. It features fixed sights, a fully shrouded ejector rod, and a rearward-pull cylinder latch. Manufactured by Armscor in the Philippines and imported by Armscor Precision International (Pahrump, NV), it carries the Rock Island Armory crest on the frame and RIA medallions in the grips.

This M206 is built on a steel frame with a parkerized finish for a uniform, matte appearance. The compact profile and 2.01 in barrel make it a true snub-nose configuration, complemented by a fully shrouded ejector rod for protected operation.
The revolver uses a DA/SA action with a transfer-bar ignition system. It includes a smooth-faced trigger and an exposed, serrated hammer spur for controlled cocking. The cylinder is released by a rearward-pull (Colt-style) latch.
Sights are fixed, with a ramped front and a rear notch for a straightforward, snag-resistant setup. The barrel employs 6-groove rifling with a right-hand twist of 1 turn in 455 mm.
Ergonomics are enhanced by black textured finger-groove rubber grips with RIA medallions. Branding and origin details include the Rock Island Armory crest on the frame and import/manufacture markings: APINTL-PAHRUMP NV and ACP PHILIPPINES.
