The Springfield Armory Kuna is a recent 9mm AR-pattern pistol developed with HS Produkt, built around a roller-delayed blowback action, a cold hammer-forged 6 inch barrel, and a monolithic 7075-T6 aluminum upper with full-length numbered Picatinny rail. This example includes two 30-round Kuna-pattern magazines and ships in excellent overall condition.

The Kuna uses a roller-delayed blowback operating system and a forward-mounted, non-reciprocating, reversible folding charging handle. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual safety as well as the magazine and bolt controls with clear pictogram markings. A flat-faced trigger and an integrated, proprietary pistol grip with Adaptive Grip Texture molded into the polymer lower round out the ergonomics.
Construction centers on a monolithic 7075-T6 aluminum upper/handguard with M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail. The receiver wears a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. The lower assembly uses a reinforced polymer frame with a steel chassis for durability.
The 6 inch steel barrel is cold hammer (radial) forged and Melonite-treated. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted at the factory with a multi-port brake. This configuration provides ready compatibility with standard 9mm muzzle devices using the specified thread pattern.
Hybrid flip-up metal sights are included: a flip-up hooded post front that presents a white dot when folded, and a flip-up aperture rear that presents a U-notch when folded. Dedicated detachable Kuna-pattern magazines feed the platform, with a maximum capacity of 30+1. The base configuration features a rear Picatinny end plate with no brace. Overall length is approximately 15.5 inches and weight is about 4 lb 10 oz. Markings include "KUNA" and "9x19," along with SPRINGFIELD ARMORY – GENESEO, IL and HS PRODUKT KARLOVAC, CROATIA (crest).
