Turkish Model 1938 Long Rifle manufactured by Askerî Fabrikalar (ASFA) in 1939, featuring the ASFA Ankara crest with crescent-and-star on the receiver ring. This full-length 8mm Mauser long rifle uses a Mauser 98–pattern controlled-round-feed action with a charger guide and traditional flag safety. Its 29.1 inch barrel, military stock configuration, and Turkish-pattern furniture make it a solid example from the WWII era.

The rifle retains the hallmark Turkish configuration: a full-length hardwood military stock with a separate top handguard, a single mid-fore-end barrel band with a separate nosecap at the muzzle, and a cleaning rod channel. It also has a left-side fore-end sling loop, a bottom swivel on the front band, and a right-side stock disc, features characteristic of Model 1938 long rifles.
The Mauser 98–pattern action provides controlled-round feed and includes a charger/stripper-clip guide for rapid loading into the internal 5-round magazine. The flag safety is mounted at the rear of the bolt in the classic Mauser style.
