Cugir TT-C 7.62x25 Tokarev, Romanian TT-33 Pattern, 4.6 in Barrel, 8+1, 1950s, PW Arms Import
This Cugir TT-C is a Romanian-license TT-33 pattern pistol from the 1950s, chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev. It bears the Cugir arsenal triangle and PW Arms, Redmond, WA import mark, and features a frame-mounted manual safety added for U.S. import compliance. The bore is excellent, and the pistol includes one 8-round magazine and a brown leather flap holster.
Built at the Cugir arsenal in Romania, this TT-C follows the proven TT-33 pattern with a full-size steel frame and blued finish. The slide is marked with the Cugir Romania Model TT-C legend alongside the Cugir triangle arsenal mark, and the importer stamp confirms PW Arms provenance.
The pistol operates via a semi-automatic, single-action, short-recoil, tilting-barrel locked breech system. It uses a 4.6-inch barrel and an 8+1 single-stack magazine with witness holes. A magazine release is fitted, and both a grip-frame lanyard loop and a lanyard ring on the magazine floorplate are present.
Hardware is straightforward and durable: blued steel slide and frame with narrow vertical rear slide serrations, a spurred/rowel hammer, and fixed blade front and fixed notch rear sights. The black ribbed hard-plastic grip panels are each secured by a single screw.
For U.S. import compliance, a frame-mounted manual safety is installed. Import and proof markings include the PW Arms, Redmond, WA stamp and the Cugir triangle arsenal mark, aligning with its Romanian 1950s origin and documented import history.
