What’s Included
- Remington Rand M1911A1 .45 ACP pistol

This 1945 Remington Rand M1911A1 retains its GI configuration, with frame finger-relief cuts, an arched and vertically grooved mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and standard GI-pattern controls including the thumb safety, slide stop, and magazine catch. The left side of the slide carries the correct two-line rollmark "REMINGTON RAND INC. / SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A."
The pistol wears a wartime Parkerized matte gray finish on its carbon steel slide and frame, with rear-only vertical cocking serrations. It is equipped with a short trigger and spur hammer, consistent with late-war GI features.
Sighting is via fixed GI sights: a small front blade and a small square-notch rear. The pistol uses the standard GI barrel bushing; the recoil-spring plug is a non-GI checkered replacement (USGI spec is smooth). Brown checkered plastic grips with reinforcing rings around the grip-screw holes complete the period-correct look and feel.
Chambered in .45 ACP on the full-size 1911 platform, this M1911A1 operates via a single-action, short-recoil, locked-breech system. It features the classic Government Model 5-inch barrel and a standard 7+1 capacity. Three unmarked GI-pattern 7-round steel magazines are included.
