This Smith & Wesson Model 610-3 is a stainless N-frame revolver chambered in 10mm Auto with a 6.5-inch heavy barrel. The revolver has a satin brushed stainless finish, a six-shot fluted cylinder, and the 610-3 model marking on the yoke cut.

The 610-3 is built on S&W's stainless N-frame and wears a satin brushed stainless finish across the frame, cylinder, and 6.5-inch heavy barrel. The barrel combines a full-length underlug with a serrated top rib for a purposeful, balanced profile.
Chambered in 10mm Auto, this model is designed for moon-clip use with rimless cartridges and is also compatible with .40 S&W when used with appropriate moon clips. The pinned ramp front sight and micrometer-adjustable square-notch rear sight provide a clear, tunable sight picture.
Controls include a smooth-face trigger and an exposed, wide checkered hammer spur for confident DA/SA operation. The six-shot fluted swing-out cylinder uses a star extractor and a knurled ejector rod for positive ejection.
Stocks are smooth hardwood with finger grooves in a target-style profile. Additional details include the 610-3 model marking on the yoke cut, the S&W crest on the left sideplate, and the Made in U.S.A., Springfield, Mass. address on the right side of the frame. This example also has no internal key lock on the frame.
