Built on Beretta’s proven low-profile 680-series action, this over/under uses trunnion pivots and dual conical locking lugs for secure lockup in a compact receiver. The receiver wears a satin nickel finish with factory scroll and rosette engraving and the Beretta trident medallion, paired with a gold-tone single selective trigger and a tang-mounted manual safety with barrel selector.
The 30-inch steel barrels use monobloc construction with a ventilated rib and a blued finish. Chambers are 3 inches. The monobloc is marked "12 GA 3 - 76 - 30" and "Beretta Gardone V.T. Made in Italy," and the underside of the receiver is marked "686 Silver Pigeon I" with the medallion. A single front bead provides a clean sight picture.
This shotgun uses flush screw-in chokes and is currently configured with Full and Modified chokes installed. It includes a four-tube set (IM, MOD, IC, CYL) and a choke wrench for setup changes to suit sporting, clays, or field use.
The walnut stock features checkering and installed adjustable-comb hardware for precise fit. Right-hand ergonomics include a palmswell and slight cast-off. A KICK-EEZ rubber recoil pad is installed, and length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
