Built in 1971 during the FN Herstal Belgian-production era, this Auto-5 is the Magnum Twelve variant, identified by the "Magnum" receiver marking and the V-designated serial code series for 12-gauge magnum models. It is configured for 3-inch shells and a 2+1 capacity, delivering the heavy-load capability the Magnum lineup is known for.
The 28-inch barrel carries a ventilated rib with bead sights for clean sighting. At the muzzle is an external adjustable choke device; this example is set to a Mod choke. The bore is excellent with a mirror-bright finish.
The receiver is blued steel with factory scroll engraving, pairing with a walnut pistol-grip stock and matching forearm. The stock is checkered and fitted with a ventilated recoil pad, and a sling swivel stud is installed in the buttstock.
