The long-slide Compact configuration combines a 5-inch barrel and slide with the PDP Compact grip size. The slide wears a matte black finish with front and rear serrations and ships with a factory cover plate over the optics cut. White 3-dot iron sights are installed, with the rear sight mounted to the cover plate as specified.
Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a left-side push-button magazine release. The striker-fired action uses Walther’s standard curved Performance Duty Trigger with a central safety blade. Capacity is 15+1 with the included compact-length magazines.
The polymer frame features Walther’s Performance Duty texture for secure purchase and accepts interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune grip size. An integral Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dust cover supports common weapon-mounted lights or accessories.
Origin and markings are clearly present: Made in Germany with CARL WALTHER ULM/DO and DE/CIP proof marks, plus a WALTHER ARMS FORT SMITH, AR import mark. This example is a recent release within the PDP series and reflects Walther’s current duty-grade design language.
