The G47 is a full-size 9mm with a 4.49 in Glock Marksman Barrel that uses polygonal rifling for consistency and accuracy. Both the slide and barrel wear Glock's nDLC finish for added durability. Capacity is 17+1, and this pistol includes three factory 17-round magazines.
This Gen5 frame deletes finger grooves, adds a flared magwell and Gen5 texture, and includes ambidextrous slide stop levers with a reversible, standard magazine release. An accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover, and the Modular Backstrap System is included (beavertail backstrap not installed).
The slide features the MOS cut with the factory cover plate installed. Sights are a Trijicon front with an orange dot paired with a plain black U-notch rear. The Glock Safe Action system and a 5.5 lb trigger provide the familiar Gen5 operating feel.
Made in Austria with importer marking GLOCK, Inc. (USA). Proofs include an 'AT' mark and a '5' proof. The case label shows model code PA475S203MOS. The frame, slide, and barrel have matching serial numbers.
Originally developed for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the G47 design was later released to the commercial market. Parts compatibility is noted with the G17 Gen5 MOS, G19 Gen5 MOS, and G45 MOS.
