Built on the Mauser 98-pattern controlled-round-feed action, this vz. 24 has a straight bolt handle, a charger-clip guide, and a flag safety. It uses an internal 5-round staggered box magazine, with a listed capacity of 5+1. The bolt remains bright in the white, contrasting with the blued receiver and barrel.
The rifle retains its original iron sights: a tangent/ladder rear sight with a graduated slider and a protected front blade. The 23.23 inch steel barrel pairs with good rifling and a clean bore, supporting the rifle’s intended accuracy characteristics for its era and cartridge.
The full-length hardwood stock includes a left-side finger groove, a separate upper handguard, and a bolt takedown disk. A bayonet lug is fitted to the nose cap.
