It is a recent-production, Czech-made example with CIP proofs, a 2022 date/proof stamp, and a CZ-USA Kansas City, KS import mark. The pistol is in excellent condition and includes two 10-round magazines and installed blue textured composite grip panels.

The 97 B is built on a steel frame with a black polycoat finish and a slide that rides inside the frame rails. The slide features front and rear serrations and an anti-glare rib. A screw-in barrel bushing is fitted at the muzzle.
Mechanically, it is a DA/SA, hammer-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech design with a ring/rowel-style hammer. Safety features include a manual left-side thumb safety with no decocker (not the 97 BD variant) and a firing pin block. A top-mounted loaded chamber indicator is present.
Sights are straightforward and durable: a fiber-optic front with a red/orange rod and a fixed, serrated rear notch. Capacity is 10+1 rounds, and the included steel magazines have witness holes numbered to 10 and extended basepads.
Markings include CIP proof/inspection stamps, a CZ-USA Kansas City, KS import mark, and a "22" date/proof stamp. The barrel hood is marked "45 AUTO," and the slide and frame carry matching serial numbers. Aftermarket blue textured composite grip panels are installed.
