Certified by the Civilian Marksmanship Program as Service Grade, this rifle includes a CMP Certificate of Authenticity dated June 08, 2021 and a CMP-branded hard case. No import mark is observed, and U.S. military proofs are present, including a circled "P" on the stock and an Ordnance flaming bomb on the barrel.
The receiver is marked "U.S. RIFLE CAL. .30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" on the heel and is paired with a Springfield Armory barrel marked "SA 2-52" with the Ordnance flaming bomb. The bolt is Springfield Armory marked "6528287-SA US1." The barrel length is 24 in, and the receiver is forged steel.
It retains the standard M1 gas system with the gas cylinder and operating rod, feeding from the internal eight-round en-bloc clip system in .30-06. Sighting is via a wing-protected front blade and an aperture rear sight with windage and elevation knobs.
Furniture consists of a full-length hardwood stock with hardwood handguards. The length of pull measures 13.0. This configuration reflects a WWII-era receiver matched with a postwar Springfield barrel, consistent with many arsenal-maintained M1 Garands.
