Product Description

    Mannlicher-Steyr M.95 Long Rifle, 8x50mmR, WWI Austro-Hungarian, 30 in Barrel, Straight-Pull

This Austro-Hungarian Mannlicher-Steyr M.95 Long Rifle is a full-length, straight-pull military rifle from the WWI era, produced between 1896 and 1918. It remains in its original 8x50mmR configuration with no "S" conversion mark and carries the "STEYR M.95" receiver-ring marking. Collectors will note the long rifle pattern with its approximately 30 inch barrel and period-correct features.

The rifle retains its original chambering in 8x50mmR Mannlicher, with no "S" conversion mark noted. No Bulgarian crest is observed. These details align with an early configuration that was not later rechambered.

It features the classic straight-pull bolt with a split-bridge receiver and a rear cocking-piece safety. The action type and receiver style are characteristic of the M.95 long rifle pattern used by Austria-Hungary during WWI.

Sighting equipment includes a tangent ladder rear sight and a fixed front sight mounted on a barrel block. The receiver ring is marked "STEYR M.95," and the rifle carries a blued finish consistent with its service-grade origins.

The stock is a one-piece, oil-finished hardwood with a straight comb and straight wrist, fitted with sling swivels. A separate top handguard is present. The Mannlicher en-bloc clip system with a drop-out floorplate port is standard to this model; no en-bloc clips are provided with this rifle.
