It features a laminated hardwood stock with checkering and a ventilated recoil pad, and it includes a Tasco Pronghorn 3-9x32 scope. The SB2 rifle-rated receiver is engineered for centerfire pressures, and the chambering also accepts .357 Magnum and .38 Special family cartridges.

The SB2 Ultra uses H&R’s rifle-rated SB2 receiver, designed for centerfire pressures. Chambered in .357 Remington Maximum, it also accepts .357 Magnum and .38 Special family cartridges, offering flexible ammunition options within the same platform.

The laminated hardwood stock and fore-end provide stability and durability. Checkering at the grip and fore-end enhances control, while the ventilated recoil pad and a 14.0-inch length of pull contribute to a steady shoulder fit. Sling swivel studs are installed front and rear.
A Tasco Pronghorn 3-9x32 scope with a 1-inch tube and Duplex reticle is included. The rifle is made in the United States with a circled P proof, and the barrel/receiver bear the Harrington & Richardson, Gardner, Massachusetts, U.S.A. rollmark.
