This DPMS Panther Arms MOD. A-15 is a St. Cloud, Minnesota–marked rifle from the pre-2014 production era, set up on a flat-top A3 upper with a carbine-length gas system. It features a 16-inch steel barrel with 1:9 RH twist, a threaded muzzle wearing an aftermarket multi-port brake, and a bright, excellent bore. Custom patriotic engravings and a purposeful selection of add-ons — including a Bushnell red dot, flip-up rear sight, Magpul MVG foregrip, and Magpul MS1 sling — make this a distinctive, ready-to-use AR-15 configuration.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Built on an AR-15 platform, this A-15 pairs a flat-top A3 upper with an integral Picatinny rail, forward assist, case deflector, and dust cover. The lower and upper receivers are aluminum alloy finished in hardcoat anodized black, matching the overall carbine configuration and providing a durable foundation for its accessories.
The 16-inch steel barrel is marked "DPMS CAL 5.56 1–9" and uses a right-hand 1:9 twist to stabilize common 5.56 NATO projectiles. It is threaded at the muzzle and currently fitted with an aftermarket multi-port muzzle brake. A fixed A-frame front sight base and carbine-length gas system are paired with a flip-up rear sight for a practical sighting setup alongside the mounted optic.
Custom patriotic touches set this rifle apart: the ejection port cover is engraved "The Right to Bear Arms," the bolt-catch extension lever reads "We The People," and the trigger guard features a U.S. flag with Second Amendment text. The two-piece polymer carbine-length handguard is upgraded with bolt-on rail segments and a Magpul MVG vertical foregrip for improved front-end control.
The rifle includes a Bushnell red dot optic and a Magpul MS1 two-point sling for immediate usability. An adjustable polymer stock provides an 11.25-inch length of pull, and the polymer pistol grip offers familiar AR-15 ergonomics. It accepts AR-15/STANAG pattern magazines and comes with a 30-round Magpul PMAG. This example bears the St. Cloud, Minnesota roll mark, indicating Minnesota-era production prior to 2014.
