The pistol comes with its factory box and Colt instruction booklet, adding completeness for the collector.

The Match Target configuration features the fixed-barrel Woodsman design with a heavy, slab-sided 6-inch barrel and long relief cuts. This fixed-barrel, simple blowback platform is known for stability and consistency with .22 LR ammunition, supported here by a smooth, curved single-action trigger.
Target sighting equipment includes a target-style front sight and an Elliason fully adjustable rear; the rear sight block is marked "ELLIASON." The upper has diagonal rear serrations for positive manipulation. A grooved backstrap and checkered wood target grips with a right-hand thumb rest round out the period-correct Third Series ergonomics.
Controls and capacity follow the classic Woodsman pattern, with a heel-type magazine release at the butt and a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR. The included steel magazine has the heel-release cut appropriate to the model, aligning with the Third Series format.
Third Series identifiers include the "S" suffix serial-number format used from 1969 to 1977. This example’s factory box end label matches the pistol’s serial, and the original Colt instruction booklet is present. Note that the factory box is damaged in several spots.
