This no-dash Smith & Wesson Model 63 is a pre-1982 J-frame Stainless Kit Gun in .22 LR with a 4-inch pinned barrel and adjustable sights. Built predominantly from stainless steel—the frame, barrel, and 6-shot fluted cylinder—with a blued-steel adjustable rear sight and DA/SA action, it retains the classic field-friendly configuration. It wears aftermarket black checkered wraparound rubber grips.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Details: This firearm is in great shape. There are some scratches and blemishes present. The bore is clean and shiny. Minor carbon scorching is visible around the forcing cone and on the cylinder face, as expected from normal firing. There are a few small spots of pitting present on the finish.
