The Performance Center Competitor metal-frame design uses a 7075‑T6 aluminum frame finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote and a black stainless slide, creating a durable two-tone configuration. The 5.0 in stainless barrel and slide are Armornite treated. Extensive top and side lightening cuts reduce slide mass and lend a distinct Competitor profile.
The slide is cut for optics and this pistol comes with the Smith & Wesson CORE RDS mounting plate kit. A Swampfox open-emitter red dot is already installed with a red reticle. Iron sights include a green fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear, with a 7.25 in sight radius.
Controls are competition-forward: a flat-face trigger with enhanced sear, an oversized reversible checkered magazine release, and an ambidextrous slide stop. A flared magwell aids reloads, and the integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail supports weapon-mounted lights or other accessories.
The full-size format provides a 16+1 capacity in 9mm Luger, and this example ships with four factory 16-round magazines. Textured M2.0 grip panels and interchangeable palm-swell backstraps allow straightforward fit tuning.
