The SP 2340 pairs a polymer frame with a removable fire-control unit and replaceable, pinned steel frame rails—features that underline the platform's service-focused design. It is a hammer-fired, DA/SA pistol with an external hammer and a decocker, supported by a four-point safety system that includes a firing-pin lock, safety intercept notch, and disconnector. A reversible magazine release accommodates different shooter preferences.
