This Steyr AUG A3 M1 NATO Stock High Rail is a 5.56mm bullpup configured for AR-15/STANAG magazines and built around a 16-inch, hammer-forged, quick-change barrel. It comes upgraded with a SIG Sauer ROMEO-MSR red-dot sight and a ported muzzle brake/compensator, pairing modern handling with the AUG’s proven short-stroke gas piston system. The tan fiberglass-reinforced polymer housing, full-length elevated Picatinny top rail, and right-side accessory rail round out a feature-rich, ready-to-use package. Note on caliber markings: the receiver is rollmarked “CAL .223,” while the installed quick-change barrel is stamped “5.56x45”; the rifle is chambered for 5.56 NATO and is compatible with .223 Rem ammunition.

The AUG A3 M1 NATO Stock High Rail configuration accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines and features right-side ejection with a non-reciprocating, left-side charging handle. Its short-stroke gas piston system delivers smooth operation in a compact bullpup layout.
The 16-inch, hammer-forged barrel is equipped with a quick-change latch and is threaded, with a ported muzzle brake/compensator installed. Barrel and bolt are steel, while the receiver’s elevated Picatinny top rail is aluminum.
The fiberglass-reinforced polymer stock and housing are finished in tan and include an integral vertical foregrip and fixed sling loops. Length of pull is 14.5 inches, offering a consistent bullpup stance.
Rail space includes a full-length elevated Picatinny top rail (High Rail) and a right-side accessory rail. The installed SIG Sauer ROMEO-MSR red dot complements the rail setup, and the rifle ships with two 30-round Magpul PMAGs. Typical capacity is 30+1 with a 30-round magazine.
