Taurus 856 Executive Grade .38 Special +P, 3-inch Stainless DAO, Square-Butt, 6-Shot Revolver
The 856 Executive Grade stands out with a 3-inch stainless barrel, a square-butt stainless frame with checkered walnut Altamont grips, and a hand-tuned double-action-only trigger with a bobbed hammer. It wears a hand-polished satin stainless finish with the Executive Grade crest, and its six-shot fluted cylinder features factory-chamfered charge holes. This recent Executive Grade release ships in a fitted Pelican Vault hard case and was the only square-butt offering in the 856 lineup at launch.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

This Executive Grade configuration pairs a 3-inch stainless steel barrel with a full underlug, shrouded ejector rod, and a recessed crown. The fixed sighting system combines a pinned ramp front sight with an orange insert and a rear groove for a clean, durable sight picture.
The double-action-only system uses a bobbed (spurless) hammer and a smooth-faced, hand-tuned trigger for consistent pull. A six-shot fluted cylinder in stainless steel includes factory-chamfered charge holes to aid loading.
The square-butt stainless frame wears checkered walnut Altamont grips and a hand-polished satin stainless finish. The frame carries the Executive Grade crest, and the barrel and frame display matching serial markings.
