Commemorative elements set this Affinity 3 apart: the right side of the receiver is engraved "2022 Gun of the Year" with turkey-themed scrollwork, and the left side carries the NWTF turkey logo. The receiver is an aluminum alloy with a black finish, and it bears BENELLI U.S.A. CORP - ACCOKEEK, MD importer markings and proof/inspection marks near the trigger guard.
It uses Franchi's inertia-driven semi-automatic action in 20 gauge with 2 3/4 and 3 inch chambers and a 4+1 capacity. The bolt is chromed, the safety is a cross-bolt type, and the charging handle is cylindrical for a positive grasp. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope/base with a three-hole pattern.
The 26 inch vent-rib barrel is paired with a red fiber-optic front bead for fast indexing. It employs an interchangeable screw-in choke system with extended tubes; a Modified (MOD) choke is installed, and additional extended IC and Full tubes are included.
Stocks are satin walnut with cut checkering for control, matched to a walnut forend. A TSA recoil pad and a 14.0 inch length of pull support comfortable handling while maintaining the shotgun's clean, classic profile.
