The pistol is built on an all-steel, full-size 1911 platform with a Government-length 5-inch Wilson-marked match stainless barrel and bushing. The stainless chamber is visible at the ejection port, and the pistol wears a matte protective finish with professionally dehorned edges for smooth handling.
Ergonomics and traction are enhanced by X-TAC style grasping cuts on the slide and X-TAC texturing on the frontstrap and mainspring housing. A flared and beveled magwell speeds reloads. The long, solid trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer complement the single-action operation.
Duty-ready sighting and control features include a Wilson Combat U-notch rear sight paired with a bright-insert dovetailed front sight, plus thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad.
