This Howa Model 1500 in .308 Win combines a 24-inch cold hammer-forged heavy barrel with a GRS-branded adjustable composite stock for a stable, configurable shooting platform. It features a one-piece machined receiver with a forged two-lug bolt and a three-position safety. The rifle includes a one-piece Picatinny scope base, a multi-baffle muzzle brake, a Magpul bipod with a carbon-fiber spigot extension, and one 5-round detachable magazine. Made in Japan.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The 24-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged steel with a heavy contour for thermal stability and consistent shot placement. It is threaded and fitted with a multi-baffle muzzle brake to help control recoil and muzzle movement.
The GRS-branded composite stock provides extensive adjustability and modern ergonomics. It includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull, QD sling sockets, an underside accessory rail, a bag rider, textured rubberized grip panels, and a Limbsaver recoil pad. The stock wears a tan/black finish.
Built on a one-piece machined receiver, the forged two-lug bolt delivers smooth operation and solid lockup. A three-position safety allows for safe handling during loading and unloading. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 5+1 capacity.
Optics mounting is straightforward with the installed one-piece Picatinny scope base. There are no iron sights. The rifle carries a matte dark finish and a 14.0-inch length of pull. Country of origin is Japan.
