The James River Armory Gallant ARM is a U.S.-made, Galil-pattern rifle configured in the classic ARM layout. It features a milled steel receiver, long-stroke gas piston with rotating bolt, and an integral folding bipod that forms a speed chute when stowed. A threaded 16-inch barrel with a birdcage flash hider, robust iron sights, and a right-side folding tubular steel stock round out this well-executed build.

This Gallant is built on a milled Galil-pattern receiver and operates via a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt, staying true to the proven design. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 16-inch barrel, it provides a 35+1 capacity using the included Galil-pattern steel magazines.
Configured in the ARM style, it includes an integral folding bipod that forms a speed chute when stowed. The right-side folding tubular steel stock features a ribbed buttplate and a 14-inch length of pull. Furniture consists of a polymer ribbed lower handguard with a ventilated metal upper/gas-tube cover, plus a polymer finger-groove pistol grip.
Controls are familiar and practical, with an AK-style selector/safety lever and a paddle-style magazine release. Iron sights include a hooded front post on the gas block with a hinged ring sight and a protected aperture/diopter rear sight mounted on the top cover.
The barrel is threaded and fitted with a birdcage flash hider. The receiver is roll-marked "GALLANT CAL 5.56," and the rifle is made in the United States.
