The Enhanced configuration brings key upgrades to the ACR platform. It uses a short-stroke gas piston action with a two-position adjustable gas regulator for unsuppressed or suppressed settings. The charging handle is non-reciprocating and reversible, and controls include a manual safety selector for familiar operation.
The cold hammer forged 16.5 in barrel features a quick-change interface for modularity and caliber-conversion capability, as designed for the ACR system. It is stamped "B MP 5.56 NATO 1/9," uses a 1:9 twist, and is threaded with an A2-style birdcage flash hider.
Furniture and mounting options are robust. The rifle has a folding, telescoping polymer stock with multi-position adjustment for length of pull. The vented polymer handguard accepts bolt-on Picatinny rail sections, and a continuous full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail runs from receiver forward for mounting optics and accessories. No sights are included.
Receiver markings read "B.F.I. ILION, N.Y. U.S.A." and "MODEL–BACR CALIBER–MULTI," with an ejection-port cover marked "MULTI-CAL." It uses a metal upper receiver with a polymer lower, is made in the USA, and accepts standard STANAG magazines with a nominal 30+1 capacity.
