    What’s Included
    • Ruger New Model Blackhawk & Super Blackhawk instruction manual/parts list
    • Original Ruger red factory cardboard box

Built in the New Model series, this Super Blackhawk uses Ruger’s transfer-bar safety with a single-action mechanism and external hammer. It features a 7.5 inch steel barrel and an all-steel frame, cylinder, grip frame, and ejector-rod housing, all finished in blue.

The cylinder is the unfluted six-shot style associated with the Super Blackhawk. It also wears a rounded, non-Dragoon trigger guard and a crescent ejector head, giving it a classic configuration collectors appreciate in this model.

Sighting equipment is period-correct and fully adjustable, with a ramped front blade and an adjustable rear mounted to the topstrap. The smooth wood grips with Ruger medallions complete the factory look.

Manufactured in 1976, this example aligns with Ruger’s U.S. Bicentennial production year. It carries the Southport, Connecticut barrel address from the pre-Newport era. A special Bicentennial barrel marking is not confirmed for this revolver.
