The 4.5 inch alloy-steel barrel is threaded, and the muzzle extends past the slide for easy suppressor or accessory attachment. A factory thread protector is installed to safeguard the threads when not in use.

The striker-fired, single-action system incorporates an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a trigger safety, and a striker block. Model and origin details are clearly identified: the chamber hood is marked ".22 LR," the frame is marked "TAURUS BAINBRIDGE, GA," and the serial plate is labeled "TX22" with a QR code. The polymer grip panels are molded with the Taurus bull logo.
