The steel receiver wears a matte black finish and is marked "Remington 870 SUPER MAG." The barrel carries the stamp "12 GA. 2 3/4" and 3" — 3 1/2" only with Super Mag receiver," confirming proper pairing. A 2D data-matrix is present adjacent to the serial. The action uses twin action bars for dependable pump operation, and a cross-bolt safety provides straightforward control.
