Built in stainless steel throughout, this Anaconda features a full underlug and vent rib that define the model’s silhouette. The six-shot fluted cylinder and polished stainless finish give it a distinctive factory presentation while maintaining the robust construction expected of Colt’s large-frame .44 Magnum.
Colt’s modern LL2 leaf-spring action drives this double-action/single-action revolver, complementing the Anaconda’s large-frame design. The cylinder rotates clockwise, and the cylinder latch operates with a rearward pull, consistent with current-production Colt double-action revolvers.
The sighting system is practical and configurable. It comes with fully adjustable rear sights and an orange-ramp front sight that can be swapped by the user; the front blade is retained by a set screw for straightforward changes. The top strap is factory drilled and tapped and fitted with filler screws at the factory.
