The AV long action is well-suited to .338 Win. Mag., and this example is configured for left-handed shooters with an LH roll-mark and a bolt release on the receiver’s left side. It uses an internal 3-round box magazine and has no iron sights.
The rifle is built in Finland and carries a Finnish proof/inspection stamp, reflecting factory verification. The receiver is machined with Sako’s integral tapered dovetail rails, and 1" ringmounts are already installed for mounting compatible optics.
The 24.5" sporter/medium contour barrel uses a plain crown and is set up without sights, keeping the sighting system focused on the receiver’s integral rail interface. The muzzle is smooth and unthreaded.
The black synthetic stock has practical features for control and comfort, including molded checkering panels, a textured Monte Carlo-style raised cheekpiece, a rubber buttpad, and sling swivel studs. The rifle’s metalwork presents a two-tone matte treatment: a light gray/silver barrel and ringmounts contrasted by a darker matte gray/black receiver and hinged floorplate, with a light silver/gray trigger guard bow and screws. Length of pull measures 13.0.
