It is CIP proofed and importer-marked by Steyr Arms, Bessemer, AL.

The ATc 5" Base is a collaboration pistol designed by Steyr and produced by Arex in Slovenia, combining Steyr’s design with Slovenian manufacturing. It carries CIP proof marks and includes importer markings for Steyr Arms, Bessemer, AL. The serial number is repeated on the frame and barrel.
Built on a steel frame with a matching steel slide, the pistol wears a two-tone grey/silver finish. The 5-inch heavy match barrel supports the platform’s accuracy focus, while the full-size dimensions (approximately 216 × 150 × 43.5 mm) and about 1,220 g weight contribute to a stable shooting feel. A flared magazine well, undercut trigger guard, and extended beavertail support controlled handling and fast reloads.
The action is semi-automatic, short-recoil, locked-breech, and hammer-fired with a DA/SA trigger system. Ambidextrous, frame-mounted controls include a manual safety and decocker. The slide has front, rear, and top rib serrations for confident manipulation. Sighting is through LPA adjustable iron sights, with a dovetailed front blade and a fully adjustable rear target sight for windage and elevation.
A MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with three slots is integrated for mounting compatible accessories. Capacity is 20+1, and this example includes both flush and extended base-pad factory steel magazines. Black grip panels with hexagon texture and Steyr medallions complete the package.
