The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 runs a simple blowback action in a compact, factory pistol configuration with a rear endcap (no stock or brace). Its 7.72-inch steel barrel is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a cylindrical multi-port brake, providing versatile use with the included device.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the paddle-style magazine release and manual safety. A bolt catch/release lever is present, and the charging handle is mounted on the left side, non-reciprocating, and reversible. The polymer pistol grip wears the CZ logo for a consistent factory fit.
The fore-end is a polymer Picatinny-railed handguard with rail sections at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, plus a full-length 12 o'clock top rail. A separate bolt-on polymer hand stop is attached to the 6 o'clock rail with screws. CZ factory iron sights are installed, pairing a front post with a rear diopter/aperture, and two small top-rail blocks display CZ logos.
Markings include CIP Czech proof/inspection stamps with "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC" and "CZ-USA, KANSAS CITY, KS" import marks. The serial number is also stamped on the trunnion and visible through the ejection port. Overall length is approximately 16–16.5 inches. This pistol ships with a substantial magazine package: one 40-round, two 35-round, and two 20-round magazines, supporting a capacity of up to 40+1.
