Izhevsk TT-33 Tokarev 7.62x25mm, 1949 Izhevsk Arsenal, Century Arms Import, Matching Frame/Slide, 4.4 in Barrel, Blued Steel
This post-war 1949 Izhevsk TT-33 is a Soviet-made Tokarev chambered in 7.62x25mm with matching serial numbers on the frame and slide. It bears the Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow arsenal mark alongside Century Arms import markings. Notable post-war feature: the fine rear slide serration pattern. The TT-33's removable, self-contained hammer/sear unit is a core Tokarev design element carried over from earlier TT-30/early TT-33 production.
Built on a full-size, blued steel frame and slide, this TT-33 retains its fixed blade front and notch rear sights. The 4.4-inch barrel and 8+1 capacity reflect the classic Tokarev configuration.
The pistol operates on a single-action, short-recoil, tilting-barrel system with an external, serrated spur hammer. Grasping serrations at the rear are the finer post-war style associated with late-production guns.
This example is equipped with aftermarket wraparound black synthetic grip panels featuring molded checkering and an integral backstrap. Two single-stack steel magazines are included.
