This Winchester Model 06 Standard is a 1920s-era pump-action .22 rimfire rifle with the classic takedown design and top-eject receiver. It features a 20-inch round barrel marked "MODEL 06" and "22 SHORT - LONG OR LONG RIFLE," a blued finish, and traditional hardwood furniture. Oval proof stamps on the barrel and receiver ring add period-correct details that matter to collectors. Despite overall wear, the bore condition is good.
The rifle no longer retains its as-shipped configuration: the barrel’s rear sight is absent and the dovetail is filled with a flat sight blank, and there are extra empty holes visible on the top of the receiver/bolt cover. It still features a straight-grip stock, grooved wood forend, and under-barrel tubular magazine. Its multi-cartridge chambering and takedown system make it a practical and historically interesting example of early 20th-century Winchester rimfire design.

The barrel’s rear sight is missing with a filler blank in the dovetail, and extra empty holes are present on the top of the receiver/bolt cover. The bore is bright and clean.

The takedown receiver uses a large right-side takedown screw for quick separation of the barrel and receiver. This configuration makes transport and maintenance straightforward while preserving the rifle’s original design.
The top-eject receiver feeds from an under-barrel tubular magazine with an approximate 15-round capacity when loaded with .22 Short. A knurled magazine plug at the muzzle end provides positive control for loading and unloading.
Sighting is handled by a dovetailed front blade with a rear sight provision at the barrel dovetail.
Furniture includes a straight-grip hardwood stock with a steel shotgun-style buttplate and a grooved wooden forend. Oval proof stamps are present on the barrel and receiver ring near the breech, aligning with its 1920s U.S. production and Standard configuration.
