This Molot-Oruzhie VEPR in 7.62x54R is a 2016 Russian-made, RPK-pattern semi-automatic rifle imported by FIME Group prior to the 2017 cutoff. It features the reinforced VEPR receiver, a 20.5 inch threaded and crowned barrel with thread protector, and factory wood thumbhole furniture. It comes in excellent condition with a clean, mirror-bright bore and includes a factory 5-round magazine and installed sling.

Built on a stamped RPK-pattern receiver with a flat-sided (non-bulged) front trunnion and a ribbed top cover, this VEPR reflects Molot’s heavy-duty pattern in a semi-automatic format. It uses a long-stroke gas piston system with a selector safety and wears a durable matte black finish. Made in Russia, this example was manufactured in 2016 and imported by FIME Group.
The rifle is chambered in 7.62x54R and uses a 20.5 inch barrel that is both crowned and threaded, with a muzzle thread protector installed. Sighting is via a protected front post with detent and an RPK-type windage-adjustable rear tangent. Capacity is 5+1 as configured.
Factory furniture includes a fixed wood thumbhole stock with a cheek swell and a ventilated Molot recoil pad, paired with a wood lower handguard that carries the Molot factory logo (stylized Cyrillic 'ВП' in a circle with a horizontal bar) and checkering. Sling hardware is installed front and rear, and this rifle arrives with an olive web sling already mounted.
A left-side AK-pattern dovetail rail on the receiver provides a robust mounting interface consistent with VEPR and RPK lineage. Import and proof markings read: "MOLOT-ORUZHIE LTD. VYATSKIE POLYANY RUSSIA – VEPR – 7.62x54R – FIME GROUP LAS VEGAS NV USA." This is a pre-2017 Molot import, aligning with the FIME Group period prior to the mid-2017 cutoff.
