The 22-inch alloy-steel barrel wears a blued finish and a quarter rib with proprietary Ruger ring cuts. Sighting is fast and practical with a ramped front sight and a folding rear leaf set into the rib.
The stock is American walnut with a pistol-grip and Alexander Henry–style fore-end. Point-pattern checkering, a Ruger medallion grip cap, a Ruger-logo buttpad, and sling-swivel studs round out the classic sporting configuration.
An adjustable ejector lets the shooter choose between extraction-only or full ejection. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches. This rifle was manufactured in the United States in 2007.
