The AM-15 combines an aluminum alloy receiver set in matte black with a flat-top upper that includes a Picatinny rail, forward assist, case deflector, and ejection-port cover. Its free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides modern accessory mounting, with a short 12 o'clock rail at the front and an added 6 o'clock 1913 section. A low-profile gas block resides under the handguard.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a ported cylindrical muzzle brake/compensator to help manage muzzle movement. The rifle uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action with right-side ejection. The lower is marked "MULTI CAL."
Ergonomics are enhanced with a B5 Systems adjustable carbine stock featuring an integral QD socket. Length of pull is approximately 11 inches to 14.5 inches. A Magpul MOE pistol grip and Magpul MVG vertical foregrip round out the user interface.
A SIG Sauer ROMEO-MSR red dot is installed on a riser with flip-up caps for fast sight acquisition. The rifle uses the AR-15/STANAG detachable magazine interface and has a stated capacity of 30+1, and one 30-round polymer magazine is included. This rifle is made in the United States and finished in matte black.
