The Gen 2 design folds quickly at the barrel/receiver interface, reducing length to approximately 16.25 in for easy storage and transport. When deployed, it measures about 30.5 in with the stock collapsed, offering a compact footprint without sacrificing a full 16.25 in barrel.
The barrel is steel and factory threaded 1/2x28 with a knurled thread protector installed. This setup pairs with the straight blowback action for straightforward operation in a 9mm carbine platform.
The polymer forend incorporates an integrated rail/slot system with a full-length top Picatinny rail, while the hinged metal front sight provides a durable aiming reference. The charging handle is located under the receiver/bolt tube for direct access.
The polymer stock is telescoping and three-position adjustable with a serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 13.0 in, and the carbine weighs approximately 4.2–4.25 lb. The frame and receiver are polymer with a black finish, and markings include MADE IN USA and KEL TEC CNC INC COCOA FL.
This configuration is set up for Glock 17/22 pattern magazines and comes with a 17-round Magpul PMAG GL9. Capacity is 17+1 in 9mm Luger.
