The steel frame and slide are finished in matte gray NISTAN tin-nickel, with a black barrel for a purposeful two-tone look. The slide uses a widened Brigadier-style profile with an open-top design and front and rear cocking serrations. A Vertec-style grip profile with textured side panels featuring Beretta medallions and 92X Performance text, plus an exposed checkered steel backstrap and an extended beavertail, supports secure handling.
The 4.9 in steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined with a 1:10 twist. The pistol is DA/SA, short-recoil locked-breech, and hammer-fired, using Beretta's locking-block operating system and an external skeletonized hammer.
Controls include the Xtreme-S competition-tuned trigger with adjustable reset, an ambidextrous frame-mounted thumb safety, a firing pin block, and a reversible round-button magazine release. An integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with four slots is machined into the dust cover. The frame is marked "FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE," indicating no magazine disconnect, and capacity is 15+1.
