The PDW-G variant accepts Glock-pattern magazines and comes with one 33-round Glock OEM magazine. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and bolt catch, plus a right-side magazine release lever positioned forward of the trigger guard for quick access.
Its monolithic, Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum upper mates to a polymer lower, with a short aluminum handguard that incorporates M-LOK-type slots and circular lightening ports. A full-length top Picatinny/NATO rail and a short 6 o’clock front rail segment provide mounting space for mission-critical accessories.
The operating system is a closed-bolt blowback design aided by a hydraulic buffer for controlled cycling. The PDW-US 5.9 in (150 mm) barrel is threaded and fitted with a knurled protector, and this pistol includes a tri-lug adapter for rapid interface with compatible muzzle devices.
Handling features include an AR-style rear T-handle charging system and the PDW retractable-stock adapter/endcap installed at the rear, featuring a QD sling swivel socket, with the QD swivel installed. Swiss manufacture and import marks are present, including Thun proofs, B&T USA (Tampa, FL), the B&T roundel logo, and the Swiss cross, with matching caliber/serial markings visible on the receiver, bolt, and through the handguard window.
